Pinckney Canopy Design Build

New Dominion Construction partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Charleston District to design and construct a new drop-off canopy at Pinckney Elementary School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The project included a covered student drop-off area, expanded sidewalks, integrated site lighting, and associated site improvements to enhance pedestrian safety and traffic flow. Performed within an active school environment, construction was carefully phased to maintain daily operations, site security, and student safety. The completed facility provides a safer, more efficient arrival experience while demonstrating NDC’s expertise in delivering design-build solutions in occupied, mission-sensitive environments.
