New Dominion Construction partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Charleston District to deliver the design-build TC Dock Generator Project at Joint Base Charleston, providing resilient standby power for the 841st Transportation Battalion’s mission-critical waterfront operations. The project included installation of a new emergency generator system, automatic transfer switches (ATS), elevated electrical distribution equipment, above-ground fuel storage, load bank, transformers, and associated site and utility infrastructure. Executed within an active operational environment requiring carefully coordinated utility outages and commissioning, the completed system delivers reliable emergency power, strengthens installation resilience, and ensures uninterrupted support of critical military logistics operations.
