JBC Floating Dock

As the design-build contractor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Charleston District, New Dominion Construction delivered a floating dock facility at Joint Base Charleston to support critical survey vessel operations. The project included the design and installation of a heavy-duty aluminum floating dock, fixed access platform, and gangway engineered to perform under changing tides and coastal conditions. Electrical and water utilities, including service pedestals, were integrated to support daily operations. The completed facility provides USACE with a resilient, mission-ready waterfront asset built for long-term reliability in a demanding marine environment.
