New Dominion Construction partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Charleston District to deliver design-build HVAC upgrades at Building 10100, home of the U.S. Army Chaplain School at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The project replaced aging air handling units, upgraded ductwork, dampers, sensors, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems, while integrating new equipment with the existing cooling tower and chiller infrastructure. Completed within an occupied training facility, the work was carefully phased to maintain uninterrupted operations. The upgraded mechanical systems improved energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and long-term reliability.
