New Dominion Construction partnered with Grunley Construction to deliver a specialty RF/EMI shielding and structural interior package for a mission-critical secure facility at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. Performed within an active, security-controlled government installation, the scope centered on a continuous radio-frequency shielded envelope, including shielded wall and ceiling assemblies and conductive seaming and continuity treatments engineered to preserve electromagnetic integrity. NDC’s structural scope included roof truss and metal deck installation, while high-performance acoustic assemblies were engineered to achieve elevated STC ratings for sensitive spaces. Installation was phased around ongoing operations under rigorous quality-control and security protocols. The completed work delivered a shielded, acoustically isolated enclosure meeting stringent performance requirements.
