New Dominion Construction partnered with HITT Contracting to deliver the interior and exterior framing and drywall package for the CO/Lab facility in Falls Church, Virginia, a Living Building Challenge-certified innovation and testing center. The 8,650-square-foot ground-up project included light gauge metal framing, EcoSmart drywall systems, wood blocking, doors and hardware, specialty ceilings, and architectural finishes. Careful material selection and rigorous documentation ensured compliance with demanding sustainability requirements while supporting efficient construction. The completed facility provides a high-performance environment for building systems testing and showcases NDC’s expertise in sustainable, technically complex commercial construction.
