New Dominion Construction partnered with the U.S. Coast Guard to deliver a design-build roof replacement for an occupied gymnasium facility in Alexandria, Virginia. The project included removal of the existing metal roofing system, insulation, gutters, downspouts, curbs, vents, and associated components, followed by installation of a new 24-gauge standing seam metal roof with upgraded insulation and drainage systems. Designed for superior weather protection and energy performance, the new roofing system provides a durable, low-maintenance building envelope while extending the facility’s service life and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
