New Dominion Construction partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Norfolk District to complete the Arlington National Cemetery Spoils Yard Project. The work included excavation, screening, and removal of approximately 160,000 tons of soil, installation of certified truck scales for material tracking, and construction of a new 8-inch-thick concrete access road with associated utilities. Performed entirely during nighttime operations, the project maintained uninterrupted cemetery activities while meeting stringent environmental and site requirements. The successful execution demonstrates NDC’s expertise in managing complex earthwork and infrastructure projects within highly sensitive, nationally significant environments.
